First time going and everyone was nice, plus the vet was very knowledgeable

I have been to this vet office a handful of times and have had a good experiences. I have a now 8 month old puppy who is going to be a large dog. He sits at 43lbs. We had an appointment this morning and this visit was with Dr Alyssa Eidbo. She was nice but needs work on her bedside manner and should be better equipped to deal with all kinds of dogs. She was getting upset and put off when he jumped as she baby talked him. When he gets excited he jumps. I told her he just needs a moment to calm himself. After a few minutes he was laying down. She threw training at me and suggested having him meet more people. Just throwing training and recommendations at people doesn’t solve the problem, it starts with knowing how to interact with dogs and the best methods to teach them. My dog is a puppy, large, and is doing well in training but that is a controlled environment not a vet office. He does need more practice esp with him being large and this would have been a great training moment. She needs more experience with all dogs and be a better resource for offering teaching and support being a veterinarian.

Havoc may not love being at the vet but I really love his new vet! Dr. Roper is awesome as well as every staff member I have interacted with so far. I wanted to update this review: Havoc does now love being at the vet and I still really love this office. They are so friendly, knowledge and caring. I could go on for ever but these guys are awesome!
